Youth Series: Grade 1-5, STEM Basics

Service Description

This session of our youth series is for the younger kids ages around 6-11/grades 1-5. We will explore what STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) means. We also like to include Agriculture in there as well, so think STEAM! A look the various concepts students might study in school and how to apply that knowledge. Build a small boat, launch a rocket, make a game and more. We will additionally talk about the life cycle of animals and take a look at several of our farm friends (and possibly their babies). Most of this class will be hands on in the learning center and around the farm, so dress appropriately for the weather.
