CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
A CSA is a way to buy local food from a farmer. A "share" purchase provides the customer with a box or bag of produce or other farm products throughout the growing season. Typically customers pickup their share at the farm at scheduled intervals (like weekly). Some farms even offer delivery. At Dearing Country Farms we offer both a Summer and Winter CSA season. The Summer season runs from May through October with weekly pickup at the farm or at the Downtown Bloomington Farmer's Market. Winter season runs from November through April and pickup is at the farm or at the Winter Farmer Markets. The link on the left has more information and our signup form.
