CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
A CSA is a way to buy local food from a farmer. A "share" purchase provides the customer with a box or bag of produce or other farm products throughout the growing season. Typically customers pickup their share at the farm at scheduled intervals (like weekly). Some farms even offer delivery. At Dearing Country Farms we offer both a Summer and Winter CSA season. The Summer season runs from May through October with weekly pickup at the farm or at the Downtown Bloomington Farmer's Market. Winter season runs from November through April and pickup is at the farm or at the Winter Farmer Markets. The link on the left has more information and our signup form. Produce Share
Our summer season CSA offers a produce option. With weekly produce pickups including several in-season varieties. Springtime may include greens, onions, peas, radishes, etc. Summer would add things like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and melons. Fall would add pumpkins, squash, potatoes, okra, onions and more greens.

Beef Share
Our beef is available year round. Options for ground beef, steaks, beef sticks, organs and bones are all available for you to pickup for your share.

Chicken Share
Our chicken is available year round. Options for ground chicken, whole and cut-up roasters, breast, thighs, wings, drums and organs are all available for you to pickup for your share.

Sheep and/or Goat Share
Our goat and lamb is available year round. Options for ground, steaks, stew meat, organs and bones are all available for you to pickup for your share.

Seafood Share
Florida seafood is available year round. We travel to Florida several times a year and bring back fresh seafood for us in central Illinois. Like knowing your farmer...we know our fishermen and women. Options for filleted fish, shrimp, oysters, alligator and scallops are all available for you to pickup for your share. Other than picking up immediately upon our return, the seafood will be frozen.

Eggs Share
Our eggs are available year round. Our chickens are free ranged and on pasture.
