Youth Series: Grade 1-5, How Things Work

Service Description

This session of our youth series is for the younger kids ages around 6-11/grades 1-5. We will explore the basics of how things work as well how things grow. An in depth look at mechanism and simple machines along with plant basics. Paper airplanes, popsicle towers as well as the benefits of worms in soil, seed sprouting, tending to plants and picking in a garden. The majority of this class will be hands on in the learning center and in the garden, so dress appropriately for the weather.
