Welding 101

Service Description

In this hands on class, we will explore the world of metals and how to work it using more modern methods. Cutting, grinding, shaping, welding, soldering, riveting and bending are all processes we will learn and experience. We will cover the basics of Oxy/Acetylene torch cutting and brazing, arc and mig welding, spot welding and plasma cutting. All of these skills are important in order to fix, repair and even make tools or equipment on a farm. ** Hands on components, so dress appropriately: adequate covering, no loose clothing, close toed shoes, etc.
