Service Description

The how to of med/large farmstead animals. A look at breed selection, rearing, medical care and processing for goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, cattle, and hogs. Some basics of horse/mule/donkey rearing as well. We will take a tour of Dearing Country Farms and see animals in their environment and discuss proper and improper management techniques. A closer look at pens, fencing and enclosures for good animal husbandry.
