Service Description

A look into primitive ways to cook foods and heat your shelter. We will explore rocket stoves, earthen and stone ovens as well as several other devices people have used in the past. A look at wood and coal stoves, parts, safety and what to look for in a good quality stove. How to cook over an open fire using grates, spits and with cast iron cookware will be experienced. In addition, we will explore solar cooking and its possibilities as well.
