Did you ever take middle and high school shop? If so, congratulations... you may know the difference between a Phillips screwdriver and Torx driver, or hammer and a mallet. If not, you might want to take this class. We will identify, demonstrate and learn to use a variety of hand and power tools. Safety is paramount and will be discussed thoughtfully. Some examples of the types of hand tools to learn about include: tape measures, hammers, saws, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, sockets, pry bars, their variants and much more. Power tools will include: drills/drivers, jigsaw, reciprocating saw, grinders, routers, and more. A look at some larger equipment such as drill press, table saw, and planer will also be performed.
